Join our HR and Organisational Development Team during this exciting transformation journey at the council! We're at the forefront of enabling the organisation to achieve its goals and create an exceptional employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated Organisational and Learning Development professional with up-to-date knowledge and skills in planning, developing, and delivering successful organisational development and learning initiatives. As an integral member of our team, you will provide excellent service to employees, managers, and customers.

Working alongside the Organisational Development and Learning Lead and colleagues across the organisation, you will support the delivery of the council’s plan and development for the organisation determining organisational requirements, delivering appropriate engagement activities, learning and development solutions, and providing specialist advice across all functions.

Qualifications

  • With qualifications or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience, your comprehensive understanding of Organisational Development and Learning and Development practices will enable you to work collaboratively across our diverse organisation, ensure projects remain on track and apply effective evaluative processes.
  • Be organised with good IT skills and experience using a range of digital platforms and systems.
  • Work collaboratively with a wide range of people across the organisation to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Thrive in a busy and varied environment where your creativity and innovation will be key to achieving our goals and delivering on our organisational and learning development requirements.
  • Be a confident and effective communicator, able to clearly present complex ideas and concepts and positively engage colleagues at all levels.
  • Respond well to challenges and approach them courageously.
  • Have knowledge and experience in project planning and delivery.
