The predicted salary is between 33000 - 77000 £ per year.

· Commercial reporting including forecasting and wider project performance

· Work alongside operational team to produce accurate End Life Forecasts

· Manage client interface

· Contract Administration

· Provision of contractual advice to the project delivery team

· Aid in subcontract procurement and placement, ensuring best value for money and lowest risk achieved at all times

· Payment and debt management

· Post project appraisals and feedback loop to T & E team

· Attend internal and external (Client) meetings

· Final account compilation / submission

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a rapidly expanding Construction and Infrastructure business. Our client are looking for a passionate and dynamic Quantity Surveyor to come in and be placed on a fast track to Senior Quantity Surveyor as they continue growing the business throughout the UK.

Projects involve a range of both Civils and Build work, therefore the ideal candidate will have experience within both. This regional main contractor has grown rapidly in the past couple of years and has won several awards for sustainability, health and safety, and industry best practise., · Team work

· Contractual knowledge – NEC and JCT knowledge

· Verbal and written communication skills

· Negotiation skills

· Organised and efficient

· Customer service skills

· Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Qualifications & Experience:

· HNC or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is essential

· Experience in the construction industry is essential

· Ability to understand and respond to contract issues

· Experience in the construction and civils industry

A salary of up to £55,000 plus attractive package including car and pension etc
