Blackmont Consulting is a student-run organization established in 2020 which implements rigorous analysis to help firms achieve practical results with real impact. We are uncompromising in our approach to helping clients consistently make better decisions, deliver improved business performance, and create greater shareholders returns.
As a member of our consulting team, you'll take part on cases that reshape business, government, and society. You'll collaborate on challenging projects with team members from many backgrounds and disciplines, increasing your understanding of complex business problems from diverse perspectives and developing new skills and experience to help you at every stage of your career-at Blackmont and beyond.
Consultants will be working in teams of 4-6 to tackle real-world business problems over the course of the project. Responsibilities include:
- Market trends predictions and suggestions.
- Develop solutions for complex client situations to ensure meeting of goals and objectives and deliver results on time.
- Development of primary research sources among industry contacts and customers, suppliers, and competitors of the companies you are researching.
- Understand sector, currency, political, and regulatory risks where applicable.
- Financial analysis and modeling of companies under your coverage.
- Analyzing financial performance, returns on capital and valuation.
- Determine, develop, and deliver innovative strategies and tools to target new and current clients.
- Take charge of identifying information sources, gathering, and interpreting data, executing analysis, and presenting findings to case team members and client stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Be through your first, second or last year at university. Master's and PhD students are also accepted.
- Ability to commit to this position for a minimum of three months.
