Our client is looking for a structural engineer with a passion for heritage OR conservation work and refurbishment projects to help with their expanding portfolio within the conservation team. As the successful candidate you will beCARE registered or working towards accreditation. They are involved with heritage and conservation projects together with the partners and assisted by engineers and technicians, lead the Heritage work. It is part of the ongoing business strategy to expand our services in this sector. The successful candidate will be an experienced structural engineer with a very strong interest in heritage and conservation. The role requires passion for collaboration with all involved in projects, assessment of historic materials and liaising with specialists. Excellent writing, speaking and sketching skills are required, with the ability to manage your workload. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, an ability to monitor and manage their workload and liaise with clients and contractors. Experience of heritage and conservation projects is essential along with good sketching abilities. The position offers excellent career opportunities within the practice and the wider conservation community.
