Position Overview:

The Azure Solutions Architect plays a critical role within the Professional Services division, perfect for a technical leader passionate about pioneering innovative Azure solutions within the Cloud Centre of Excellence.

In this role, the successful candidate will design and implement sophisticated Azure solutions tailored to clients’ needs, from extensive global deployments and application modernisation projects to security-focused initiatives.

With a strong emphasis on collaboration, they will work across multiple teams to assess and enhance cloud solutions, champion DevOps and automation best practices, facilitate engaging workshops, and communicate complex concepts clearly. They will remain at the forefront of Azure developments, ensuring clients receive optimal value from their cloud investments.

This role offers a vibrant environment that combines creativity with technical proficiency while building meaningful relationships with clients and internal teams.

What You\’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the design and successful delivery of innovative Azure projects from start to finish.
• Creating compelling and detailed Azure solution designs that resonate with clients.
• Facilitating engaging client workshops to clearly demonstrate the value of your solutions.
• Collaborating closely with internal teams to define strategic Azure architecture for internal products and services.
• Acting as a trusted advisor for internal teams, providing expert guidance on technical challenges and escalations.
• Contributing your insights to shape the future direction of our Azure solutions and services.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Extensive experience crafting robust Azure architectures for global deployments, modernising legacy applications, implementing Azure VMware Solutions (AVS), and securing environments with SOC/NOC collaboration.
• Deep technical mastery of Azure services, with hands-on expertise in PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, Azure storage, and comprehensive management and monitoring solutions.
• A strategic mindset, capable of evaluating and continuously improving cloud solutions by engaging actively in forums like Azure Technical Design Authority (TDA).
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and DevOps best practices.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform, enabling streamlined and automated deployment processes to support client journeys toward DevOps excellence.
• Experience with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, advising on containerisation to enhance application performance and scalability.
• A passion for continuous learning, staying ahead of Azure developments, actively seeking certifications, and validating concepts through hands-on proof-of-concept projects.
• Exceptional communication skills, confidently facilitating workshops, capturing requirements clearly, and translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Flexibility and critical thinking skills to engage confidently with stakeholders at every level, from C-suite executives to technical teams.
