A pivotal role in driving the people strategy across our operations and cinema teams in the UK and Ireland. Acting as a strategic partner to the operations leadership team, you will lead the People Operations team to shape and deliver initiatives that enhance colleague experience, drive commercial performance and support our business plan. Please note that this role is for a fixed term contract of 12 months. This is a field based role with a base support location of either Manchester or London.
Key Accountabilities:
- Partner the Senior Operations Team in UK & Ireland, leading a team to deliver strategically across talent planning, engagement and colleague development.
- Strong link to and collaboration with the wider People Team to deliver the people plan, identifying current and future people-related business needs and strategies to prioritise.
- Provide data-driven and cinema insights to influence decision-making, drive continuous improvement and current and anticipated people opportunities, challenges and risks.
- Monitor and analyse key people related data trends and KPIs in order to enable people opportunities to shape longer term strategic plans.
- Drive a positive, inclusive, high performance and engaged culture through coaching leaders and targeted initiatives across cinemas and operations.
- Provide expert guidance and solutions on complex ER cases, ensuring fairness and consistency in line with our values and employment legislation to minimise any potential people related risks.
- Partner with leaders to drive a culture of accountability, ensuring performance management processes are embedded and effective ensuring compliance and consistency across teams.
- Lead and deliver people-related projects that drive transformation and our colleague experience and engagement.
- Support and coach the operations leaders to ensure a strong talent pipeline for key operational and cinema roles.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a senior people business partner in a multi-site retail, hospitality or operations led environment.
- Strong customer focus and commercial acumen with the ability to align people strategy to business performance.
- Expertise in organisational design, change management, and leadership development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, impact and influencing skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cultural change.
- Strong understanding of UK & Ireland employment law and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on and proactive approach.
- Experience in leading and developing a team to drive business-wide people initiatives.
- Able to analyse and evaluate data and options for action to reach sound conclusions.
- CIPD or equivalent qualification.
