Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? Our well-established and highly respected Engineering client in Bridgend is expanding and seeking a talented engineer to join their forward-thinking team on a permanent basis. This is a key hire for the company, where you will play a leading role in designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge electrical control systems for their niche product range. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical circuits for new and existing products.
- Write detailed control specifications and generate build documentation.
- Develop commissioning procedures and ensure seamless installation.
- Work closely with end-users and contractors to ensure flawless execution.
- Investigate and resolve technical challenges, driving continuous improvement.
- Contribute to evolving design standards and best practices.
What we’re Looking For:
- HND/Degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering.
- Strong background in electrical, controls, or automation engineering.
- Experience across the full product lifecycle - from concept to completion.
- Familiarity with safety standards (12100, 60204, 13849).
- Proficiency in electrical drawing packages (e.g., ePLAN).
- Hands-on experience with electrical builds and diagnostic tools.
