Are you looking for your next challenge to champion and support the continuous improvement of Culture & Behaviours across a business? We currently have an exciting opportunity within the DIO People Team to join the Culture & Behaviour Team, who work collaboratively to improve DIOs workplace culture, behaviours, inclusion and employee wellbeing. The role holder will understand people policies to support the design and delivery of events, interventions, training, and resources to raise awareness on culture, behaviour, wellbeing, and inclusion, as well as support the delivery of relevant DIO Strategy. To ensure effective decisions and delivery the role holder will engage widely with stakeholders across DIO and the MOD to ensure alignment, collect insights and knowledge of good practice. We want to be confident that we are investing our time and resources in the right activities, which will have the biggest positive impact on the culture of DIO and the workplace experience of its employees. The role will also include a focus on communications, as a key enabler for raising awareness and ensuring employees can access the support and information they need. To be successful in this role you will need well being expertise, strong organisational, IT, interpersonal and collaboration skills. We are also looking for an individual who is passionate, curious, and enthusiastic about making a positive difference to the working lives of DIO employees; and can encourage others to feel the same. Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following: Supporting the delivery of DIOs vision to be recognised as an inclusive organisation committed to the wellbeing of its employees by assisting in the implementation of targeted interventions and long-term action plans. Delivering events, building awareness and understanding of the topic of wellbeing, inclusion, culture and acceptable behaviours, ensuring coordination and alignment with key partners. Using qualitative and quantitative data to advise the need for and delivery of tailored wellbeing, culture and behaviour interventions. Engaging with stakeholders to build a picture of the challenges and culture of DIO, ensuring they are kept informed and are willing to support delivery of activity and engage with interventions. Updating and maintaining DIOs wellbeing, culture and behaviour SharePoint pages and Teams channels, ensuring our people can find the information or support they need quickly. Developing self, and others, to become experts in this field, regularly developing HR policy knowledge. Supporting our networks of Speak Safe Volunteers and Mental Health First Aiders. Person specification Essential Criteria: Experience or fluency in improving culture, behaviour, wellbeing or inclusion in the workplace. Experience of creating high quality and high impact communications to improve culture, behaviour, wellbeing or inclusion in the workplace. Experience of managing multiple stakeholder groups, consulting with them and keeping them informed and engaged. Be an associate member of the CIPD or willing to work towards becoming one. Desirable Criteria: Knowledge and prior experience of working in an HR team. Working knowledge of people policy and processes. Experience creating and managing SharePoint pages. Experience and confidence in discussing/managing sensitive topics. Be a Mental Health First Aider Memberships Be an associate member of the CIPD or willing to work towards becoming one. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments. Requirements to attend other locations for official business, or work in another MOD office, will also count towards this level of attendance.
