Job Overview:
The Director of Sales Operations is responsible for driving intense operational excellence and cadence, continuous improvement of sales productivity, sales performance execution, and quarterly/annual predictability, all while achieving revenue growth and profitability targets. This individual will directly support the EMEA Sales Leadership team, as well as collaborate on global sales operations initiatives. This individual will report to the SVP of Global Sales Operations. This position requires a strong technical aptitude and knowledge of business needs to support the objectives of the Sales Organization. This is a hands-on role without direct management responsibilities but with significant influence over the sales organization.
Primary performance goals include:
- Provide operational thought leadership to both the team and supported sales leaders.
- Build effective relationships within regional and global sales, sales operations and controlling leadership teams.
- Drive “Operational Success” for the European sales teams.
- Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and reporting and drive simplification, improvements and global standards across the organization.
- Provide insight and direction on business system enhancements.
- Support the design and implementation of optimum sales territories.
- Provide end-to-end operational support for regional Business Area leadership, ensuring transparency on demand generation, pipeline, forecast, top deals, results and other KPIs.
- Support sales QBRs, quarterly forecast cycle and provide analysis and insight on key trends, risks and deviations.
- Track and review pipeline situation, consolidate and communicate pipeline progression to key stakeholders.
- Prepare regular ad-hoc reports and analysis – proactively translating data into insights and decisions.
- Ensure consistent high data quality in all relevant systems and flawless execution of all ongoing and ad-hoc activities within the agreed sales operations scope.
- Understand the business priorities and leverage tools and processes for execution – covering Demand Management, Deal Execution, Forecasting and Performance Management.
Required Skills:

Work Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Sales Operations or related (Sales, Program Management, Finance, Consulting, Corporate Strategy).
- Proven track record of successful project management within an international matrix environment.
- Expert level knowledge of internal reporting platforms, CRM and sales support (e.g. SFDC, DOMO).
