Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive the company vehicle responsibly and safely; obeying at all times, the traffic laws and highway code.
  • Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks ensuring any defects found are reported to the Transport Manager.
  • Carry out deliveries and collections to our customers in a professional manner.
  • Keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using appropriate documentation.
  • Ensure that any equipment on the vehicle is secured and protected where necessary.
  • Demonstrate great customer service skills in all aspects of the working day.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge in order to ensure accurate and effective deliveries.
  • Represent the Company and values of the business and portray a professional and business-like image to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a Class 2 licence and have experience in driving Class 2 vehicles.
  • Possess a full and valid Driver Certificate of Professional Compliance (CPC).
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Good customer service skills.
