My client has been established since 2006, they are a leading name in their field. They are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join them on a permanent basis. The Warehouse Operative will ensure the efficient running of all warehouse functions.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Receiving and booking in all deliveries into the warehouse.
- Preparing goods to be sent to the factory and checking paperwork and quantities are correct.
- Movement of goods to and from the factory.
- Dispatching of all orders to the customer with efficient checking and dispatch of labels and delivery notes.
- Dealing with all courier related queries and managing the courier database and stock in the warehouse.
- Regular stock takes where needed.
- Using transfer machinery and software to produce transfer and dispatch.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy and adheres to Health and Safety conditions at all times.
- Managing the stock on shelves.
- Managing and checking of sold items in the sold area.
- Assisting in the returns of goods to suppliers.
- Assisting in quality checks prior to despatch.
- Picking and packing orders.
To be successful in this role you will be a team player, have a hands-on approach, a can do attitude, have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, have excellent attention to detail, be accurate and efficient and be able to prioritise workload and work on your own initiative.
