We are seeking a Category Manager to drive category growth and portfolio development across the European market for a globally recognized FMCG food brand based in Central London. This role offers the opportunity to shape and execute category strategies, lead new product development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure market success.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies for our client's products.
- Lead the development of new products in collaboration with R&D, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
- Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape to inform business decisions.
- Work closely with sales teams to implement promotional activities and achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to maintain a competitive pricing position.
- Partner with digital marketing and brand teams to develop impactful campaigns.
- Support and nurture talent within the category team while providing training on product knowledge.
- Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure compliance with food safety and industry regulations.
- Mandarin speaking.
- 3 years’ experience in sales/marketing within reputable FMCG food/beverage companies.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and leadership skills with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Willing to travel across Europe and eligible to work in the UK.
- You will come into the office twice a week (City of London).
- You must be a foodie, loving trying new foods as the office will be a hub for food!
