Senior Legal Consultant – Strategic Joint Venture

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior legal consultant to play a pivotal role in a high-profile joint venture between two industry-leading brands.

The Role

Working closely with key stakeholders, you will provide hands-on, commercially focused legal support , ensuring strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations are effectively managed. This is a dynamic, high-impact position where you’ll be expected to roll up your sleeves and actively contribute beyond pure advisory work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Legal Advisory – Provide pragmatic, solution-oriented advice on commercial and strategic initiatives.
2. Contracts & Structuring – Lead contractual, structuring, and drafting matters for both existing and new business ventures, including negotiations and supplier agreements.
3. Dispute Resolution – Manage pre-litigation disputes and address commercial issues as they arise.
4. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight – Collaborate with risk & compliance specialists to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, particularly in data and privacy matters.

You

This role is ideal for an experienced corporate and/or commercial lawyer with a background in the insurance or broader financial services sector . You should be available at short notice and comfortable stepping into a fast-paced, evolving environment.

The Offer

As the first legal hire in this venture, you will engage in a broad range of legal work. Given the ongoing expansion, this role is initially offered as a contract running through the end of 2025 .
