The predicted salary is between 72000 - 108000 £ per year.
Due to a period of sustained growth and a number of recent acquisitions, this Global SAAS company is looking to hire an FP&A Director to support the CFO and help to build out an FP&A Function. The role will lead the company's financial planning, forecasting, and analysis function to drive strategic decision-making and optimize business performance. This role serves as a key financial partner to executive leadership, providing critical insights that shape the company's strategic direction.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead the development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range financial plans
- Oversee financial modelling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing to inform strategic decisions
- Partner with business unit leaders, business performance and finance teams to provide financial insights, identify opportunities, and address challenges
- Develop and enhance reporting frameworks that track KPIs, variances, and financial performance
- Lead capital allocation processes, including ROI analysis for major investments
- Guide the FP&A team in creating insightful board presentations and executive financial reports
- Implement best practices in financial planning methodologies and systems
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial forecasting
- Collaborate with finance, treasury & tax, sales operations and business performance teams to ensure alignment of financial information
Skills and Abilities required:
- Extensive experience working in similar roles, with appropriate qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Extensive experience of working for a Global SAAS company is essential
- Strong leadership experience managing and developing finance professionals
- Advanced financial modelling and analysis skills
- Demonstrated experience partnering with executive teams on strategic planning
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to translate complex financial concepts
- Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities
This is a London based role that offers hybrid working and will involve some travel.
