MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in York, North Yorkshire to recruit an Urgent Care Dentist to join their team on a permanent basis. Independent practice. Available as soon as possible. Notice periods can be taken into consideration.
Part-time position, 2-3 days per week. Option to add an additional Saturday morning at York and another day at their sister practice in Pontefract. Surgery space Monday to Friday 8am-5.15 pm and Saturday 8.30-1pm.
Dentist will be required to offer Urgent Care Sessions under the NHS. Opportunity for 1 session per week managing Band 3 and X-Ray referrals from Therapist. Guaranteed day rate with no loss of earnings for failures to attend. 14 patients at £36, equating to £504 per day worked. 30-minute appointment blocks with no time constraints.
Opportunity to upsell Private dentistry alongside Urgent Care with a view to adding additional Private days to facilitate. Suitable for both newly qualified and more established dentists. Excellent professional development including financial packages for courses.

Dentist will have support from a professional team of long-established dentists, experienced and qualified nurses, treatment coordinators, and dental hygienists, and superb admin support. Principal led; award-winning dental practice. Central York location, within walking distance to the station.
All candidates must be GDC registered and hold an active Performer Number. An Enhanced DBS certificate will be required on request.
