Our client is recognised nationally and internationally for their expertise in specialist Mechanical & Electrical Turnkey Systems across a wide range of engineering market sectors. They are now seeking to supplement a key technical role at their Barnsley Office and Specialist Manufacturing and Machining facility.
This role will include:
- Production of conceptual designs, supported by relevant calculations and analysis, throughout the process of the production of detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Working on design projects from tender stage through to the manufacture, installation and commissioning of the equipment.
- Liaising with other engineers, shop floor staff and customers throughout the projects.
Experience required / beneficial:
- 3D CAD package such as SolidWorks / Inventor is an advantage.
- A working knowledge of MathCad would be beneficial, as would a knowledge of Finite Element Analysis.
