About the Role This pivotal position involves managing a bespoke wood mill manufacturing operation that produces custom packaging solutions for a broad range of industries. You’ll oversee operations, optimize processes, and contribute to the business’s ambitious goal of doubling its turnover within 12 months. Key Responsibilities: Production & Manufacturing: Lead all production and manufacturing activities for both existing and new customers with bespoke requirements. Demand Planning & Forecasting: Use data analysis to forecast demand, ensuring efficient production. Inventory & Supplier Management: Optimize raw material levels and build strong relationships with key suppliers. Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of ~10, fostering a culture of excellence. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency in the supply chain and manufacturing process. Customer Interaction: Handle product queries, quotations, and quality issues, ensuring a top-notch service.
