Equifind are representing a global Insurance firm based in the City of London, who are looking to hire a Technical Operations Assistant. The international company boasts a huge insurance portfolio of clients from every sector. After a run of record-breaking years, the organisation is now looking to grow by number of employees in 2025, making it a very exciting time to join the business.
You will be directly reporting into their Operations Manager, monitoring and managing policy, claim and accounting transactions to meet set deadlines whilst maintaining agreed accuracy standards. The Role:
- Entry of underwriting policy data and endorsements within set monthly deadlines.
- Entry of claims record data.
- Processing of all daily premium and claims transactions.
- Action Notice of Cancellation issuance for underwriters and monitor broker responses until premium paid.
- Participate in Written to Closed premium reconciliation and update spreadsheets with comments on progress for review at monthly credit control meetings.
- Meeting department service levels.
- Meeting training and development goals.
Application Criteria:
To be considered for the role of Technical Operations Assistant working for this Insurance firm based in the City, candidates should ideally have:
- Up to 12 months’ experience in Insurance Operations, in the London Insurance Market, either with a Broker or Insurance firm.
- Sound knowledge of the Insurance industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Insurance computer systems, Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Technical Operations knowledge in Insurance / Reinsurance would be useful.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-growing environment.
- Strong work ethic and good culture.
