Permanent opportunity paying up to £16 per hour. Permanent role based in Derby, commutable from Coalville, Ashby de la Zouch, Nottingham, Ilkeston, and surrounding areas.
Our client is looking for an experienced Assembly Fitter / Rolling Stock Fitter / Coachbuilder to join their expanding team. Interviewing immediately.
Working Hours:
- Start time: 07:30
- Finish time: 16:30
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime paid at a premium.
JOB PURPOSE: To report to the Production Manager.
Vehicle / Train Assembly: Stripping of trains and carriages. Reassembling of rail parts. Working from build sheets, VMIs, and technical drawings.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to read build sheets, engineering drawings, and VMIs.
- Fitting experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Highly skilled Assembly Fitter / Rolling Stock Fitter / Coachbuilder.
- More than 3 years industry experience is desired but not essential.
- Candidate should be able to work on their own initiative.
