We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join their welding machine workshop team.

Role Overview:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (No weekends)
  • Location: (Insert location)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults in electric and engine-driven welding and cutting equipment.
  • Inspect returned machines to identify and address any faults.
  • Prepare machines for hire, ensuring they are fully operational and in excellent condition.
  • Maintain high safety standards during all maintenance and repair work.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in welding, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Familiarity with welding equipment and cutting tools is highly desirable.
  • Agricultural experience is an added advantage.
  • Forklift engineering experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
