Practice Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Manager with 5+ years experience in a management role to join a well-established accountancy practice. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £65,000 – £75,000 plus £10,000 bonus.

As a Practice Manager , you will lead a dedicated team and outsourced staff, ensuring smooth operations, meeting KPIs, and shaping strategic direction.

You will be responsible for:

1. Oversee daily operations across multiple locations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
2. Lead and manage both in-house and outsourced teams, maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
3. Identify opportunities for growth, expanding services and the client base.
4. Collaborate with the Director to enhance operations and client satisfaction.
5. Motivate staff to achieve KPIs and business targets.
6. Manage client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and prompt issue resolution.
7. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as a Practice Manager, Practice Accountant, Accounts Manager or in a similar role.
2. At least 5+ years experience in a management role within an accountancy practice.
3. ACCA or ACA qualified (CTA also considered).
4. Knowledge of tax and accountancy practices.
5. Skilled in practice management software with a keen willingness to adapt to new technologies.
6. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
