Insight Analyst

Job Title: Insights Analyst
Salary: c£55,000 Dependent on Experience
Location: Home Worker
Contract: Permanent (Full Time and Part Time Opportunities available)

Ageas Insurance has an exciting opportunity for a keen and inquisitive Insights Analyst to join our Insight & Propositions function. The Insights Analyst will be curious about the true drivers of customer behaviour and keen to work with the business to put the customer at the heart of decision-making.

Responsibilities:

1. Day-to-day liaison with research agencies for customer testing panel requirements and activity in line with ad hoc projects, driving insight in conjunction with regulatory consumer duty needs.
2. In-depth competitor analysis to support decision-making for product development/propositions, including the use of benchmarking reporting and other external insight sources.
3. Monitor competitor media spend and creatives and produce regular reporting that can feed into the marketing insight pack.
4. Work closely with Direct and Broker & Partnerships teams to fulfil insight and research needs.
5. Be a curious, self-starter who wants to proactively find trends and interesting pieces of information that could be useful to the organisation.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

1. Relevant previous experience in insight-related roles.
2. Experience across a range of insight techniques including statistical data analysis, primary and secondary insight techniques, and evidence of delivering insight projects with measurable outcomes.
3. Experience of the application of primary and secondary research in customer deliveries, quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
4. Highly numerate with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight in a visual way that is easy to understand – making decision-making and action more possible.
5. Skills and experience in using the MS Office suite (particularly Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint) is essential, as well as experience in the use of SAS and SQL.
6. Highly collaborative with good stakeholder management.
7. Ability to summarise a large volume of complex information into clear and engaging communications, presentations, and reports.
