Energy Analyst

A global leader in inspection, analysis, and consultancy services is seeking an experienced Market Intelligence Analyst to provide strategic insights in the energy and natural resources sector , with a focus on coal, biomass, and waste .

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis.
• Develop and maintain a global intelligence process, gathering insights from internal and external sources.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities to support business strategy.
• Maintain and manage key market data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and marketing to integrate insights into business planning.
• Attend industry events to track developments and expand intelligence networks.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in market intelligence, research, or strategy within energy, commodities, or related industries.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Google Suite/Microsoft Office (Power BI is a plus).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business intelligence gathering.
