Position: Electrical Engineer Job ID: 3233/1 Location: Norfolk Rate/Salary: Dependant on experience We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer / Workshop Engineer / Service Technician to join our expanding marine manufacturing team specialising in power solutions. As a Electrical Engineer In this position, you will create electrical designs and work with three-phase electrics, wiring services, and assembly of customised power systems at our workshop in Norfolk. Duties and responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer / Workshop Engineer / Service Technician : • Develop electrical designs using Auto CAD for both 2D and 3D layouts tailored to our bespoke marine power systems. • Assemble and wire control panel suites, electronic racks, and other components to specifications. • Provide constructive feedback to the design team regarding electrical performance, suggesting modifications when necessary. • Collaborate with various engineering departments to ensure project alignment. • Interpret job specifications from drawings and work instructions accurately. Qualifications and requirement for the Electrical Engineer / Workshop Engineer / Service Technician : • Background in electrical engineering with strong knowledge of three-phase electrics, control systems, and PLCs. • Proficiency in Auto CAD for both 2D and 3D design work. • Suitable for candidates with 2-3 years of experience or seasoned professionals seeking a more senior role. • Engineering qualification, 18th edition, C&G 2391 or similar electrical qualifications • Must be able to travel to Norfolk daily.
