Location: Commutable from Nottingham, Loughborough and Derby
Shift: Days 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday-Thursday, 7:00am - 12:00pm Friday

The Company: The company is a well-established precision component manufacturer which operates in multiple sectors including aerospace.
Sheet Metal Worker Position: Due to the continued growth, the company is now recruiting for two Sheet Metal Workers for their day shift.
Responsibilities include:
- Experience working with materials such as Titanium, Stainless Steel, Jethete, Nimonics and others.
- Working with thin gauge materials
- Experience of riveting and sealing applications
- Assembly of fabricated and machined parts combined into one assembly.
- Use of visual inspection and documentation, working to tight tolerances.
- Identification of non-conforming product or process
- Identify and communicate improvements to processes or procedures identified during production.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with 5S protocol
The Candidate:
- Use of hand tools to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal
- Shaping metal over blocks or forms using hammers
- Inspecting, assembling and smoothing seams and joints of welded, brazed or burred surfaces.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- To achieve right first time on all parts.
- Abide by all Health and Safety rules and regulations.
Licence/Certification Required:
- Driving License
