STOIX are very excited to yet again be partnering with a high-growth B2B SaaS business, backed by one of the fastest growing PE-funds, in their search for a newly created Accounting Manager.

Our client is a rapidly expanding Enterprise SaaS company, supported by a leading private equity firm. About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Accounting & Tax, you will play a pivotal role within the finance team, supporting the global accounting and tax function. This is a high-impact position where you will help manage the company’s statutory financial and tax affairs, ensure accurate financial reporting, and contribute to the development and management of key governance and control policies and processes.

  • Audit & Statutory Compliance: Play a key role in managing annual financial audits and the transition to IFRS accounting standards. Lead in the production of statutory accounts/financial statements and corporate/tax returns for multiple entities, and assist with statutory reporting in other jurisdictions.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in ensuring tax compliance across corporate entities. Assist in the creation and maintenance of transfer pricing policies. Maintain compliance with government R&D tax incentive schemes.
  • Systems, Policies & Procedures: Assist in enhancing technology systems (e.g., ERP, expenses, payroll) and support the implementation and upgrading of scalable finance systems. Review, amend, and create company policies.
  • Management Reporting: Produce accurate monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements) for the relevant entities and the consolidated group (IFRS compliant). Ensure the accuracy of monthly management reports & support the FP&A team in producing monthly financial reporting packs and rolling cash flow forecasts.
  • Cash Flow & Debt Management: Assist in managing cash positions, banking facilities, and debt facilities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with external professional advisors (auditors, tax advisors, and key suppliers).
  • General Team Management: Line manage at least one direct report and potentially more as the team grows.

Skills & Experience

  • A background in practice is ideal, with recent relevant industry experience within an SME business.
  • Ideally 7+ years of experience.
  • Qualified accountant with a recognised accountancy body (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong experience of IFRS and international group consolidation.
  • Strong experience in Tax.
  • Experience with NetSuite is an advantage.
  • SaaS/software experience is a bonus but not a must have.
