I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Solihull, who are seeking a Liaison Engineer to join their team.

Job Description

As Liaison Engineer, your main responsibilities are:

  • Lead/drive activities to reduce manufacturing variability
  • Internal & external KPI monitoring & reporting
  • Understanding & communicating deteriorating metrics
  • Key contact, supporting plant issues
  • Change Management support

Qualifications / Skills needed

  • Knowledge of manufacturing and supplier quality operations and processes
  • Comprehensive problem solving knowledge - Lean Six Sigma Black Belt qualified
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent relevant experience in an Engineering function
  • Be able to apply common processes, standards and utilise a back-to-basics approach
  • Able to form good working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong understanding of people and emotional intelligence is a plus.
  • Creates a climate in which respect, trust and mutual support are an integral part of working together.
