Role Overview:
As a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical plant, heating, and hot water systems, primarily within plant rooms. You will cover sites across Portsmouth and Southampton, with occasional travel to other areas for sickness and holiday cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on mechanical plant and heating/hot water systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Utilise provided tools, equipment, and technology to complete maintenance and service reports.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in mechanical plant and heating/hot water system maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
