The Role

As a Senior Integrated Logistics Support Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile challenging project focusing on new to service design on a national critical infrastructure project in an exciting and expanding area for engineering. Day-to-day, you’ll be leading on design for support solution and creation of the in-service support arrangements for updates, upgrades and new capabilities as they are introduced by our MoD customer.

Day to Day management of the Logistic Support Analysis Report. Planning and executing Integrated Product Support tasks and recording results. Identification and management of Risk to the project. Preparing and Presenting information to the customer based on analysis that can be justified when challenged.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Ashton Vale, Bristol and (Hawthorn) Corsham, Wiltshire and (Babcock Technology Centre) Stoke Gifford, Bristol alongside home working arrangements.

Essential Experience of the Senior Integrated Logistics Support Engineer

  • You will need to have extensive experience in Integrated Logistics/Product Support and have the gravitas to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • You will have previous experience of rapid updates and upgrades, from concept to delivery, of software-dependent systems that are riddled with obsolescence challenges from the outset.
  • Working with a supply chain that is inexperienced in meeting Integrated Logistics Support requirements, you will be required to offer guidance to ensure our contractual requirements can be met.
  • Supportability Analysis and use of a proprietary Logistic Support Analysis Report.
  • Project management experience and being able to plan and schedule.

Qualifications for the Senior Integrated Logistics Support Engineer

  • A degree and/or Engineering experience equivalent to Level 6 or above.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (or working towards).

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a SOLE UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
