Your role: Are you passionate about the design and construction of water infrastructure? We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Level 6 Apprentice Structural Engineer in our Water sector, starting in summer/autumn 2025. This exciting opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience and academic qualifications to launch a successful career in structural engineering, specialising in water infrastructure. Based in High Wycombe, you will develop your skills in cutting-edge software such as hydraulic modelling software and GIS, while gaining a deep understanding of civil engineering principles applied to water systems. You will work alongside experienced engineers, architects, and planners to deliver innovative solutions on a diverse range of water projects, including:
- Water treatment plants
- Wastewater treatment plants
- Pipelines
- Dams and reservoirs
- Stormwater management systems
As an apprentice, you will combine practical experience with academic study. We collaborate with various training providers on both block and day release basis. We will help select the most suitable provider for your profile enabling you to earn a prestigious BEng Civil and Infrastructure Engineering degree, equipping you with the knowledge and skills to excel in the water industry.
About you: For our apprenticeships, no previous experience is required. If you are self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, then this could be for you.
Qualifications: For our Level 6 apprenticeship you will need either:
- 3 A Levels Grade BBC or above to include Maths.
- A BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering – DMM to include Further Engineering Mathematics.
