About your new company
My client is a fleet maintenance company with depots across the UK. Due to their continued success, they are now looking for a skilled Workshop Supervisor to join their ever-growing team. The role would be 80% of the time on the tools and 20% supervising the workshop and completing paperwork.
About your new Workshop Supervisor role
- Support managers in optimizing workshop operations, repairs, staffing, and downtime.
- Ensure compliance with standards, EHS laws, and company policies.
- Maintain safety, stock levels, accurate paperwork, and efficient processes.
- Deliver excellent service, identify opportunities, and meet goals.
- Complete required training and uphold health & safety at all times.
The successful Workshop Supervisor will require:
- In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and HGV trailers.
- HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential).
- Fully qualified HGV Trailer Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair or time served.
