We are currently seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Manager who has knowledge of BMS/Controls to join our team in London. We require someone who has experience reading DesOps, good knowledge of IST and integrating to control systems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Management of the entire building commissioning process, including BMS and fire alarm.
  • Developing commissioning plans, schedules, reports, checklists, and test scripts for mechanical systems.
  • Development and third-party buy-in into project certification strategies specific to mechanical components.
  • Recording detailed progress prerequisites for mechanical systems.
  • Routine population and management of data in our project management software, with a focus on mechanical aspects.
  • Undertaking and reporting inspections and tests related to mechanical systems.
  • Assisting in the development of design and commissioning documentation for tender and construction purposes, emphasizing mechanical elements.
  • Attending project and internal meetings as needed, representing the mechanical commissioning perspective.
  • Arranging test instrumentation with a specific focus on mechanical systems.
  • Assisting in the development of tender submissions with an emphasis on mechanical requirements.
  • Supporting projects during client discussions of a technical nature related to mechanical components.
  • Reviewing technical papers/reports related to mechanical systems before publication.
  • Working closely as part of a general contractors team to develop commissioning strategies and processes aligned with project objectives, with a focus on mechanical aspects.
  • Undertaking technical assessments of project schedules, drawings, manuals, and technical submittals related to mechanical systems.
  • Managing detailed recording of meetings, particularly those involving mechanical commissioning discussions.
  • Providing routine progress reporting and final project close-out reports with a focus on mechanical systems.
  • Managing attendance and reporting of factory tests for mechanical components.
  • Arranging third-party sign-off as necessary for mechanical systems.
  • Providing technical advice to clients regarding project and operational risk related to mechanical aspects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A commissioning professional as certified by an accredited agency.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer preferred.
  • Data Center commissioning experience.
  • Commissioning certification preferred (CxA, CCP, BCxP, or CBCP).
  • LEED AP or LEED Associate.
  • Management/Commissioning Management.
  • Have one or more specific, relevant, technical expertise.
  • Proficiency in HVAC load calculation software such as Trace or IES.
  • Preference given to local candidates.
