Chester Race Company are recruiting Event SIA Door Supervisors for the 2025 race season at Chester as well as Bangor-on-Dee racecourse! Race days and events are truly something spectacular to be a part of! This role is exciting and varied, you’ll work racing and other events at the racecourse as well as prestigious venues across the region and further afield!

General Responsibilities Include:

  • Offering an excellent level of guest experience
  • Conducting searches
  • Monitoring crowd safety and behaviour
  • Upholding our licensing objectives
  • First response to any reported issues mainly relating to control of alcohol and conflict management
  • Checking tickets and relaying information
  • Directing guests to relevant areas of the venue
  • In the event of an emergency/evacuation you will follow safety protocols & direct guests to exit the venue safely

The successful Event SIA Door Supervisor will have the following:

  • You must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Badge
  • A friendly, approachable, and professional manner
  • Strong guest experience skills
  • Confident in conversational English
  • Desirable qualifications are L2 Spectator Safety, First Aid at work

As a mandatory requirement of this role you will undertake training in Level 2 Spectator Safety within 12 months of working with us.

Our rates of pay (inclusive of holiday pay): 18+ £17.08 per hour

Shift Availability: Our shifts vary! You are in control of the hours you work via our staff app. Shifts will be predominantly evenings and weekends.

Join us in time to work at BOODLES MAY FESTIVAL 7th to 9th May 2025! Our biggest and best race meeting of the calendar year at Chester Racecourse. With 3 race days in a row this is a great chance to get lots of experience in the role and top up your wages!
