A rapidly growing business in Woking is looking for a Credit Controller to join their busy finance function on a temporary basis in January 2025. The role involves a significant amount of telephone work, so you must be willing to get on the phone and call customers on a daily basis, alongside performing the administrative aspects of credit control. This is an ongoing temporary assignment which is likely to last for several months and could even result in a permanent position for the right individual.

What will the Credit Controller role involve?

  • Contacting customers via telephone and email to chase outstanding balances.
  • Sending copy invoices and statements.
  • Allocating payments and filing remittances.
  • Monitoring and updating email inbox, responding to queries in a timely fashion.
  • Supporting the Credit Control Manager with any other BAU and administrative credit control activities required.

Suitable Candidate for the Credit Controller vacancy:

  • Some experience in credit control is essential, as is a strong track record of high-volume debt chasing by telephone.
  • First rate interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
