Credit Controller – Liverpool

Location: Liverpool

Full-time offering a Hybrid working Model

Hours – Monday to Friday (11am – 7pm 3 days a week / 2pm – 10pm 2 days a week able to work from home on these two days)

As a Credit Controller, your main duties will include:

1. Proactive Payment Management: Daily follow-ups with customers to ensure invoices are settled on time, keeping the process smooth and efficient.
2. Resolving Queries: Handling invoice and account queries swiftly to avoid delays in payments.
3. Payment Allocation: Receiving and accurately allocating payments to ensure a seamless reconciliation process.
4. Performance Monitoring: Keeping track of payment patterns, identifying late payers, and taking action where necessary.
5. Customer Relations: Liaising with key clients to resolve disputes and maintain strong business relationships.
6. Account Monitoring: Keeping detailed records of customer activity and ensuring timely follow-ups.
7. Shut-Out Procedures: Enforcing policies on non-performing suppliers to safeguard company interests.

What You’ll Bring:

1. Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role (or a strong desire to start a career in finance as a graduate).
2. Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport.
3. Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
4. IT proficiency, including experience with accounting systems.
5. Ability to work as part of a team and manage your time effectively.
