Tax Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Assistant with 2 years’ experience to join a well-established accountancy firm.

This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £25,000 – £30,000.

As a Tax Assistant, you will be responsible for managing a personal tax portfolio, dealing with compliance matters for a range of clients, including sub-contractors, directors, and high-net-worth individuals.

They will also provide an ATT support package.

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as a Tax Technician, Tax Assistant, Tax Associate, Tax Accountant or in a similar role.
2. At least 2 years’ experience in personal tax, gained in the tax department of an accountancy practice.
3. 5 GCSEs at grades A to C, including grade B in Maths and English or equivalent qualification.
4. Ability to prepare personal tax returns using commercial software.
