Legal Secretary - Residential Conveyancing

Are you an experienced legal secretary ready to make your mark in a thriving law firm?

RecQuest is recruiting for an established firm with a strong history of providing outstanding legal services, including residential conveyancing. The department has experienced strong growth and this role will be working directly alongside a Partner to deliver excellent service to clients.

In this role, you'll be supporting a busy residential property team, assisting with everything from buying and selling homes to remortgaging and probate-linked conveyancing. You’ll liaise with clients, estate agents, and mortgage providers to help make the home-buying process smooth and stress-free.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents like contracts and title deeds.
• Handle client inquiries and provide regular case updates.
• Manage schedules, appointments, and correspondence for lawyers.
• Assist with reception duties, ensuring a friendly, welcoming environment.
• Keep billing and administrative tasks on track.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: At least one year as a legal secretary, ideally in residential conveyancing.
• Organisation: Attention to detail and great multitasking skills are essential.
• Communication: A warm, professional manner with clients and colleagues.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software.

The Offer:

• Salary up to £30,000 per year.
• Monday-Friday schedule.
• Office-based in Bishops Waltham.
