Join AZAD as a Project Manager and provide expertise and hands-on assistance to the Transmission Project Management organization, which executes and delivers on Transmission Capital Projects. The position will manage the integration and execution of assigned Transmission capital projects, such as telecommunication projects along with Non-Electric Facilities, and Security expense/capital projects with a focus on workload planning and integration in conjunction with the transmission capital project process.
This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid in Vancouver, WA with onsite 2-3 days weekly.
The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is $64.57 - $71 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
- A master's degree is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business administration, computer science, or other closely related technical field is required.
- 10 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's degree.
- 12 years of experience is required with bachelor's degree not in applicable fields.
- Experience should include project management experience on projects relating to some or all the following: Utility Physical Security and Compliance; High Voltage Substation; and/or Telecommunication Systems.
- 5 years of demonstrated project management experience on projects using industry standard methods and tools for managing schedules, dependencies, resources, funding, and developing technical specifications and project plans.
- Experience accurately assessing and estimating project costs.
- Experience writing and understanding functional and technical specifications.
- Experience with developing project schedule timelines to reflect major tasks (planning, design, procurement, construction, testing).
- Experience with SharePoint or similar program.
- Experience with Visio or similar program.
- Experience with MS Project or similar program.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
- Must be able to pass a federal criminal background and drug screening.
