£29,000 - £33,500, Rotherham S60, Permanent position, retention bonuses, training and development opportunities, day shifts initially moving to AM PM shifts, 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days, private health care, pension, free car parking, on site canteen facilities, uniform and premium paid overtime.
Due to an increase in orders we are proud to be seeking an experienced Heat Treatment Operative based within a state of the art modern manufacturing facility on the Sheffield Rotherham boundary to join their team on a full time permanent basis. As a Heat Treatment Operative you will be reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, day to day duties will include:
- Programme heat treatment cycles.
- Load and unload Furnaces using either Forklift truck and or overhead crane or manual (weight permitting).
- Analyse all data recorded during treatment and report accordingly.
- Stock control for consumables.
- Update / maintain internal WIP system for calibrations.
- Creation of concession forms (Weld maps etc).
This role would suit someone with experience working as a Heat Treatment Operative, Furnace Operator, Forging Operative or Foundry Operative within a manufacturing, production, castings or engineering environment. Additionally, our client is also keen to hear from graduates who are looking to start their career with a company that prides themselves on excellent staff retention and are at the forefront of innovation within their field. It is easily accessible from the M1 and from surrounding areas of Sheffield and Rotherham.
Our client is offering a fantastic package including:
- £29,000 - £33,500 per annum
- 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days over 5 years
- Day shifts initially - Monday - Thursday: 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am - 3:30pm moving to rotating AM and PM shifts in the future Monday - Thursday: 6am - 2pm & Friday 5am - 1pm, Monday - Thursday: 2pm - 10pm & Friday 1pm
