We have a great opportunity for someone to join the team of this primary school on the outskirts of Boroughbridge. Working alongside the School Chef you will:

  • Prepare food from a set weekly menu
  • Keep the kitchen clean and tidy
  • Wash up
  • Serve food to pupils
  • Help to clean and tidy the dining hall

We would expect the successful assistant cook to enjoy working in a kitchen. This would be an ideal role if you have experience of working in a food handling environment. This role will require an enhanced DBS certificate. You will be working at a local primary school as part of their kitchen team. There will be opportunities for training and progression for the right candidate. Due to the location it would be useful to have your own transport.
