The Role

Join a scale-up 100-person digital and data transformation consultancy operating in the Defence industry. They help organisations improve business performance, streamline processes, and implement digital solutions. They are currently seeking a Project Management Consultant to join their fast-growing team, and work across a variety of client projects and programmes. This is a manager level position where you would have around 4+ Consultants directly reporting into you. This will be a mixture of remote working, office working and expensed visits to client sites in South England. On average you will be in their Bristol office or on client site 1-2 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Line management duties for a team of consultants of mixed seniority.
  • Define project scope and deliverables with clients and teams.
  • Lead programmes from planning and budgeting to mobilisation and risk management.
  • Collaborate with clients to implement strategies that enhance business performance and improve processes.
  • Deliver large-scale projects, meeting scope, time, and quality expectations.
  • Manage change and guide clients through adopting new technologies.
  • Build client relationships to drive business growth and future opportunities.

Experience

  • Experience in consulting or a similar advisory role.
  • Relevant project management certifications (Prince2, APM etc).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Lean methodologies.
  • Eligible for SC Security Clearance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £65,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
