Our client is an investment led Multi Family Office start-up company founded in 2022 with a focus on the Far Eastern region. They provide bespoke holistic and independent family financial advice around wealth structuring, investment management, and corporate finance. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled Dealer and Operations Manager to support their expanding operations.
Location: Central London (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote 9am - 5pm)
Contract type: Full time, permanent
Responsibilities:
- Execution trading covering mainly Developed Markets equities & bonds, and some Emerging Markets securities.
- Utilize various trade order types to achieve best execution.
- Working with custodians and brokers to liaise for trade placing and obtain data for transaction reporting.
- Work with investment personnel on the lifecycle of running a portfolio, including performing stock/fund research, trade execution, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Assist client advisors with client-specific tasks including conducting client fact finds, account opening, performance reporting, taking meeting minutes, and ad hoc problem solving.
- Work with various third parties (e.g., fund administrator, lawyers) to meet internal operational requirements.
- Ad hoc compliance and regulatory tasks, with the guidance from MLRO and external Regulatory Consultant.
Candidate Requirements:
- Prior experience on the trading floor with live trading exposure and strong attention to detail.
- Sensitivity to financial market movements and ability to process complex information.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and engage with stakeholders.
- Inquisitive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Key qualities: trustworthy, reliable, tenacious, resilient, and thorough.
- Tertiary education.
- Experience in fund operations, private client onboarding, custodian banking, and trade reconciliation.
