Our client, a leading organisation providing legal services to the corporate and financial sectors, is looking to recruit a Client Accounting Services Manager to join its London office. As part of their growing Accounting services team, the successful candidate will manage a small team of London-based accountants, reporting to the centralised accounting team in the Channel Islands.

The department was established to meet diverse client accounting needs across UK and Channel Islands service lines, including Real Estate, Private Wealth, and Corporate Services. The role will involve managing clients, reviewing financial statements, and line management duties, focused on Real Estate clients and the running of the VAT service line.

You will also be responsible for the development of the London-based accountants and wider team as required, which will include recruitment, training, and sharing technical knowledge with the team.

To be eligible for this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ICAS, or other recognised qualification) with demonstrated post-qualification experience. You must possess detailed knowledge of the local finance industry, legislation, and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will have an excellent working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting standards, and a solid grasp of audit approaches.

The successful candidate will have experience with both VAT return preparation and submissions, as well as Real Estate accounting experience.
