Consultant/Senior Consultant – Circular Economy/Carbon Accounting
Our client is a technical, science-led, circular economy consultancy that delivers creative, strategic, practical solutions to support clients to be environmental and sustainability leaders in their field. They are a small boutique consultancy with over 30 years experience and are looking to recruit a driven and passionate Senior Consultant to join the team and assist in the growth and development of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Independently apply research and complex quantitative and qualitative analysis skills as part of a project team on client engagements. Assimilate reports and information from other consultants to consolidate views for the team.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality narratives and hypotheses for smaller workstreams and provide input to more complex projects.
- Ideate and recommend analytical approach on projects and develop effective data and numerical models to drive conclusions as part of a project team on client engagements.
- Role model effective use of Excel and adapt to other analytical tools for more complex analysis with larger datasets.
- Proactively adapt personal schedule and coordinate to support delivery of key milestones and changing client needs.
- Anticipate and recognise challenges and/or roadblocks on projects and support the project team by developing effective contingency plans to minimise risks.
- Manage and maintain the quality control process on projects to ensure analytical outputs are accurate, robust, and reliable. Sense check all data to ensure it makes sense in the context of issues being analysed.
- Independently produce high-quality individual insight reports or engaging content in response to project definition, core project questions, and hypotheses. Regularly articulate methodology and findings to colleagues and client stakeholders.
- Lead on some day-to-day client communications, always ensuring clients understand insights and rationale. Proactively evolve and adapt approach to meet client needs.
- Role model effective, collaborative working behaviours with internal and client team members.
