Senior Business Travel Consultant β Out Of Hours Destination Sport Travel 37.5 hours per week with shifts including 3 midweek days between 2300 β 0800 and 1 weekend shift working between 2000 β 0800 This remote role based out of our Manchester, UK office, you must live within the UK. As part of the Destination Sport Group β https://destinationsport.com/ β Destination Sport Travel provides business travel services to a number of major sporting clubs & federations. Our bespoke business travel service has been designed and created to meet the specific requirements of sporting organisations, from scouts & individual player movements, through to commercial departments, directors and CEOs travel, both domestically & overseas. We are proud to be the Official Travel Partner/Supplier to several professional Sports Clubs, providing a range of services including the day-to-day travel of teams at all levels within the organisation (First Team, Youth, Womenβs etc), plus Club Management, Directors and Sponsors. Weβre looking for a Senior Business Travel Consultant β Out of Hours to join our existing travel team, the purpose of this role is to processing booking requests, amendments, cancellations and respond to any customer communication in accordance with ISO and company standards. You will work closely with our day team operations to ensure there is a smooth transition from day team to the night shift. No two days are the same in this exciting new role, but as part of your role you will Process reservations, amendments and cancellations as requested by the client in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with the company standards and those laid out in the entire ISO procedures manuals Forward thinking, and adaptable as a Team Manager may not always be present on shifts Deal with ticketing and re issues and have knowledge of working out manual fare builds Take ownership of complex customer enquiries received in writing or over the telephone Offer a variety of flight options, explaining fare rules when Booking flights Convert general enquiries into actual bookings utilising all the tools and technology available Monitor queues and ensure all communication both written and verbal is professional, accurate and conducted in a timely manner Offer advice regarding destinations, best/most cost-effective carriers etc Take ownership and responsibility for all client queries handled until successfully concluded Support any commercial agreements which are in place Ensure the highest level of customer service is always offered to internal and external customers Log and deal with customer complaints and reduce future issues, escalating where necessary Accurately process data and issue invoices to ensure compliance with ISO standards Maintain and Develop relationships with key clients Utilise account management skills to retain and grow business Ensure that full support is given to the key preferred suppliers Support any commercial agreements which are in place Ensure all communication both written and verbal is professional, accurate and conducted in a timely manner Accurately process data and issue invoices to ensure compliance with ISO standards Always achieve own sales target and lead by example To be successful within this role, our ideal candidate will: Have extensive experience working as a Business Travel Consultant (within the sports travel industry would be highly advantageous but not essential) Proficient in using travel booking systems, including use of a Global Distribution System (GDS) with Galileo being preferred Knowledge in working out re-issues, fare builds and ticketing Previous experience booking flights, and coordinating bookings Due to the nature of the shift patterns and not always management on shift, you would need to be proficient in problem solving and being proactive Experience dealing with high volumes of email and call requests, processing complex travel bookings Demonstrate excellent Worldwide travel knowledge Be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office Demonstrate excellent customer service skills both over the phone & via email Be accurate with the ability to follow complex instructions Be able to work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectives Demonstrate exceptional communication skills both verbal and written Be well organised and quick to prioritise workload Be able to think logically and consider all relevant aspects with strong analytical skills Be flexible and able to prioritise tasks in line with business objectives Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines So if you are looking for your next challenge, please get in touch we\βd love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
