We are looking for a good Mechanical Engineer for a longstanding client who is a respected, nimble, and motivated medium-sized Mechanical Building Services Engineering Contractor. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will take technical ownership of all aspects of allocated projects. You will be responsible for delivering all technical aspects of the project, including documentation and reports.

We are looking for an accomplished Engineer who can:

  • Ensure all technical activities are conducted in a comprehensive manner to meet the agreed specification;
  • Work closely with all team members to ensure that the project is designed, constructed, and commissioned;
  • Provide a forward-looking outlook to avoid technical problems later;
  • Communicate well with clients in all technical aspects of the project;
  • Work with Project Managers to define technical work packages for the supply chain;
  • Always keep focused on the balance of technical and programme delivery.

We are looking for an Engineer with:

  • An Engineering Degree (BEng, BSc) or higher in a technical discipline such as building services engineering or mechanical engineering;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the industry;
  • Expertise in building services design;
  • Previous experience of working with teams, planning, and reporting;
  • Knowledge and understanding of CIBSE standards and building regulations;
  • Strong communication skills at all levels with the ability to provide solutions;
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure to demanding timescales;
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office.

An enthusiastic and professional approach is essential. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to work within defined timescales to meet programme milestones. You must be a positive player on the management team with a positive attitude and a passion to succeed.
