The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Press and Broadcasting Officer.
Salary: £48,646.52 (gross) per annum inclusive of London Weighting, with a fixed sum allowance of £2,668.
Location: Head Office - London
Duration: Permanent
The post-holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a pro-active media and communications strategy and taking responsibility for the day-to-day presentation of the Party’s values, policies and campaigns within print and broadcast media.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of organising and running press conferences, media opportunities and photo opportunities
- Experience of writing press releases, articles, blogs and briefs
- Ability to implement a media strategy and maximise media coverage and boost online profiles
- The ability to work as part of a team.
