Fabric Engineer

Full-Time 30000 - 42000 £ / year (est.) No home office possible

I am currently recruiting for a Fabric/Maintenance Technician for a temporary to permanent/ongoing temporary contract starting ASAP in London Bridge.

Candidate Criteria:

Minimum of 2 years\’ fabric maintenance experience in a commercial environment.
Background in general trades such as painting, carpentry, or plastering.
Ability to provide at least 2 references from work completed within the past 5 years.
Own safety boots and basic hand tools.

My client is one of the largest facilities providers in the UK, and the successful fabric engineer will be based at a commercial building in Elephant & Castle.

Working Details:

Shift hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. The starting hourly rate is £18-20 per hour.

Responsibilities:

General maintenance tasks
Changing lights
Basic plumbing and flushing
Making good repairs
Changing door locks
Painting
Assisting M&E engineers

Candidate Profile:

Looking for a client-facing fabric engineer with a positive attitude and advanced knowledge of general maintenance and building services.
