Responsibilities:
- Responsible for buildout, delivery and daily operation of TikTok's global OTN infra.
- Responsible for high level and low level design, road-map and standardization of TikTok's OTN.
- Responsible for OTN automation and architecture optimization.
- Improve OTN availability and efficiency.
- As a team member, responsible for TikTok's global datacenter buildout and operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge on optical transportation, 3+ years experience of OTN solution, system design, architecture, service delivery and operation.
- Proven hands-on experience of major OTN devices, such as Ciena, Nokia, Infinera etc.
- Good troubleshooting skills, able to handle various OTN issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering or any equivalent technical field with relevant work experience.
- Self-motivated, good communication and written skills.
- Team player and participate in TikTok's network global on-call rotation.
- Network knowledge, such as TCP/IP, BGP is preferred.
