Management Accountant

Sheridan Maine is excited to be recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of an established business based in central London. This is a remarkable opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant to take ownership of the monthly financial reporting process. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growth-oriented environment, collaborating with senior members of various teams.

Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

• Own the monthly financial reporting process, including the management of offshore finance resources and presenting results to management.
• Work collaboratively with senior members across various departments, as well as with Finance leaders from other divisions within the company and external stakeholders.
• Main point of contact for annual external audit.
• Continuously assess and evaluate internal controls to ensure they are effective and appropriate for the business needs.
• Represent the business unit during the implementation of new company-wide systems.

The successful Management Accountant:

• Ideally part-qualified or a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
